If you want to connect your computer to another computer ,steps are follows:

1. Tell ID and password of your friends team viewer

2.  Type the ID in PARTNER ID.

3. click connect to partner.

4. Then type the password.

5. You are now connect to your friends computer. 

You can also transfer files from another  computer to your computer
